“In the end, living a fulfilled life means to me being able to have the freedom (in all aspects) to choose. To have choices and options.”
Very recently, I started a new job at a Fortune 200 company in a sales position–while still maintaining the growth and flow of my business Elite Skate Wear, as well as my various projects including the Young & Ambitious Podcast, this blog, and overall content creation on my creative platforms. A notion I often hear is that it is bad to balance multiple jobs outside of a corporate job, especially if it’s related to entrepreneurship (or just being your own boss). In fact–I was blatantly told by a CEO [of a medium sized business] that it is a red flag that I am an entrepreneur and that it is difficult for me to work at another corporate job while being a business owner.

As a recent college graduate (or not so recent anymore) this past May 2019, I’ve been asked pretty frequently how and what I did in college to prepare for the stage of my life I am in now. Over the past few years (especially the last two), I’ve really kept my habits consistent and continue to refine them over time and I want to share some of these key habits that I maintain to keep up with my hustle and entrepreneurial lifestyle. Just a few weeks ago, I started my last semester of college (ahhh) and since then, my schedule has changed a bit in comparison to my Fall semester. I try to keep my mornings as consistent as possible, despite what my schedule is for the day or what time I am “starting my day”. And after reflecting, this is what I found to be my typical morning routine. Continue reading “My Morning Routine”
