Don't Just Talk, Execute
Something that has always bothered me is hearing people talk about something they want, but always having a reason or excuse as to why they "can't" attain it. If you really think about it, the only person/thing that is limiting yourself is you. It really is just you. And it really is that simple, whether you like it or not. Now, some of the biggest excuses I hear is that they don't have enough money, time, don't know the right people, and etc. Essentially they don't have the "resources" to pursue or obtain whatever it is they want in life. If you read about Oprah Winfrey's background, you might learn that she was probably in a much more difficult and "impossible" situation than any of us. And look at her now. What we need to learn to do is learn how to be resourceful. Saying that we don't have the time for something is simply saying that it is not a priority. And that really is the truth. Take what is currently present in life and utilize it in a way to lead you to the next step. You will be surprised how there's more opportunities available when you choose to be resourceful and seek the answers yourself, rather than wait for the "right time" or "right people" to come to you.I made it a priority of mine for 2018 to be the year of full execution on my plans I had written out during the last few months of 2017. I truly believe that a good place to start is to simply write down the goals that you hope to achieve, making them realistic, and having a deadline for each. I like to create goals quarterly, yearly, and where I want to be three years from now. And if you prioritize what is the most important to you based on these goals, your life will align with them.Remember, if you really want something in your life, you will always find a way to make it happen. xx
