A Day Trip to Malibu

Malibu, California -- one of the most beautiful and aesthetic looking places in the Golden State (in my opinion). The first time I ever visited California at the age of fifteen, my parents took me to Malibu because that's all I wanted to see and once I was on the pier, I fell in love.On this day trip, my friend and I decided to check out Malibu Farm, since it's a very well-known food spot for local and organic food, and the view is also just amazing. The drive to Malibu from OC wasn't too bad, since we left at a time traffic was alright, but it was still at least an hour drive. We decided to try out the organic strawberry soda, cauliflower pizza, and one of their burgers. The food was delicious and the price was as expected (although on the pricier end). I highly recommend trying this place out for brunch/lunch during the weekday, since there is a shorter wait and it's just simply peaceful during the afternoon.Fun Fact: I almost attended Pepperdine University, which was only about a 5-10 minute drive from the pier! I actually visited the campus again the same day and it was so interesting and nostalgic to be there again three years later after my first time visiting campus and falling in love with the school. Sometimes, I do wonder what it would've been like if I attended Pepperdine instead. But, I can't say I have much regrets, as I did choose the path I am currently on and honestly, I have gained so much from my experience to date. This positive outlook has really allowed me to give myself more room for growth and positivity, rather than regret and negativity. What other food spots do you guys recommend? I'm always looking for a cute and healthy place to try, so comment below with some options! :)
